Symphony Of Death was released in the worst possible time for heavy metal, in the ninetens, and we can hear that on this album. Many would agree this is not album we except from heavy metal heroes, but I can't blame them and this album is not real bad, it is only strange. Intro is very scary and it would fit perfectly on some Peccatum album but not on Grave Digger album. Symphony Of Death is real good song, it is very strong with very wall breaking riffs and great chorus, we have also all singing melodic part in this song, great song and this would be great album if all songs were like this one : Back To The Roots is almost R'n'R song with very borring chorus but even this song have some bright moments. House Of Horror is good song but not good enough to carry album. The last three songs I want to forget, there are not even close to GD standard, there are boring and slow, alright I don't mean slow on rhytms of songs. Symphony Of Death is one average album with two very good songs and some fresh ideas but it is not something we except from Chris and guys, try it but don't be too dissapointed, it was released in 1994.
