when i first heard of the band god dethroned shortly after this album came out, i assumed it was yet another anti-Christian band (Not like i don't like Anti-Chrisitian Themes) due to the name, however, upon listening to this Melodic Masterpiece, i realised that it is far more than that at all, with themes relating to the mysterious (and completly non-fictious), early 1900's character, Typhoid Mary, who had knowingly transmitted the deadly disease, typhoid to hundreds of people in England. the album also deals with other themes such as suicide, and hate, however, nothing like their previous releases, this is probably my favorite God Dethroned Album to date, songs like On Wings Of Pestilence, and Fail To Exist, are truly excellent, and won't get old for any Meodic Death Metal Fan. I highly recomend this album to any fan of God Dethroned who may have just heard of their new album out.
