This record I bought it a few months after come out for Two reasons :
One had a Maryland Doom project with Earthride members (including Sherman ex-Wretched / Spirit Caravan) so I could expect great Doom… but the other band was totally unknown to me because I never heard about a band from Portugal playing the classic Heavy rocking Doom sounds so I thought : what the hell !
To be with Maryland scenesters in the same wax must be decent stuff.
When I got it thru a local mailorder I hit the nedle and… woooow !
Heavy and raw as Hell !!
How can I describe it ? Total Sabbath / Trouble worship… if you love bands like Earthride, Cathedral and Wretched, do not miss this.
WAR INJUN seems to be Two songs taken from a demo, at least from what I read in a review in the past. Total Vitus / Obsessed worship, great grooves, too bad the band broke up after this.
The production of both bands is sounding great… not overproduced but definately not weak sounds !
Dawnrider are going on, they have an album and I made a review also because it's time to spread the word about Iberian Doom !!
