Just one year after « The Crusher », Olavi Mikkonen’s band has got his big back in business with « Versus the World ». A high quality album worthy of the 90’s performances.
It’s always a pure Death Metal with amazing melodies but compared with « The Crusher », we also see an improvement in the singles variety and in the quality of riffs too. It starts so fast with "Death In Fire" that remind us to the previous album, but the real evolution come out from the 4th single "Versus the World" that begins with an enormous riff. The singles that come after take different ways but keep the warrior spirit, the group’s own one.
The drums give a pleasant performance with rolls that fit good the group’s compositions and the Vocalist keep the same death voice that he got us used to.
Congratulations to the swedish but also and especially the finnish Olavi Mikkonen that remain the lead artist of the group.
